MenkyoMaster (“the app”, “we”) helps you study for Japan’s driving-licence exams. We designed it to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Your study progress, streak, daily-goal, badges, chosen exam track, language, theme, reminder time and premium status are stored locally on your device only. We do not have a user account system and we do not upload this information to our servers.
If you use “Report a problem” (on a question or from your profile), we receive the message you write, and—if you flagged a specific question—that question’s identifier, text and language, so we can investigate and fix it. These reports are delivered to our support inbox by email. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in a report.
Premium passes are sold as one-time, non-renewing purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies; we never see your card or payment details. The stores share with us only the anonymous information needed to confirm and restore a purchase.
The app does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, and does not sell your data.
The app is intended for people studying for a Japanese driving licence and is not directed at children under 13.
You can clear all locally-stored data at any time from
Profile → Reset all local data. (Your purchased premium access is
kept, since it is tied to your store purchase, not your local data.)
Uninstalling the app also removes local data from your device.
